A house never stands alone
The tree beside a house, the path, the shadows and the strip of grass are not background. They shape how people arrive, where they pause and what they see from the window. If we think of a farm only as a building, half the story is lost.
That is why we also look at restoration through the yard. Some change is visible in a wall or roof; some in the yard becoming a place where people want to be again. This photograph keeps one such summer moment.
The tree beside it, the grass and the shaded wall belong to the house as much as the roof. Between them people walk, work and take a pause.
Not every change is large. Sometimes it simply means making time for a place again.
