A farm we are bringing back to life
Allika is in Oandu village, Lüganuse parish, Ida-Viru County. Old maps and photographs help us understand its past; today’s photo stories show the house, yard, sauna and garden.
Stories open to everyone
You can read the history free in Estonian, English and Russian. We share our sources and say when an answer remains uncertain. Memories and photographs are welcome.

The centre’s activities
Open research into Oandu history
We collect, check and explain the history of Oandu village and the Allika farmstead, separating sourced fact, oral memory, inference and open questions.
Free public materials
We make resources about local history, noticing nature and unhurried walking freely available to everyone online.
Public restoration record
We document the restoration of an old farmstead with photographs and concise notes so that the work, choices and limits remain visible.
Quiet meditation retreats at Allika
Teadliku Elu Keskus MTÜ arranges meditation days and quiet retreats at Allika for small adult groups by advance registration and separate agreement only.
